Notes
- My personal app store
I had Bot build me a nutrition tracker for my iPhone, tuned just to me, with goals I set and a made-up veggie score. No ads, no upgrade to pro, my data. It beat the A-list consumer apps, and I've deleted them.
- Marketing to agents
People aren't choosing their own software tools much anymore; coding agents are. If you ship an MCP server or a library, market to agents.
- The Risk and Reward of Agentic Coding
A lot of developers worry that agentic coding produces slop and messy codebases. For me it comes down to risk and reward. On a personal prototype the risk is close to nothing. At a startup I'd take more risk than a large company would, with eyes open.
- Why this site
About a year ago I stopped writing code, and now I can build a prototype in the time it would have taken me to write a speculative essay about it. This note says what the site is for and what goes on it.
